I b sebastian have been spinning on the wheels of steel thus embracing the summer spirit within us all, whether it be the disco breaks or the San Fran fuelled deepness that is US house, it all gathers a feeling of warmth in our souls, a ‘broad-minded' spectrum of beats that we all recognise is what you will find every Saturday @ Label, Deansgate, Manchester. Quite simply it's an infectious, intellectual mash up of musical diversity.

Track list favourites:

Femi Kuti – Truth Don Die (MAW) (Barclay)
Fonda Rae – Living in Ecstasy (FK Groove mix) (Wave)
T Fuller – Go (Vangroover) ( Bombay )
Julien Jabre – Swimming Places (Defected)
Playgroup - Front 2 Back (Defected)
Osunlade pres. Eminence ft. Karina – Sunlight (Guilty Pleasures mix) (R2)
Jersey Street – Blessed is the man (Small arms fiya and back) (Electric Chair)
Rockers Revenge – Sunshine (Streetwise)
Kaori – Good Life (Good Vocal) (Disorient)
Crazy Penis – Lady T (Chris Todd) (Shiva)
Recloose – Manas Bounce (Peacefrog)

Biog:

I learnt the way of the decks in 1996/7 when house was an infection through my blood, since then I've been developing a taste and looking at my roots for more styles of music be it Jazz, Soul or Reggae. I feel this has had a profound effect in the way I listen to and collect my music. Getting my break in 2002 playing soulful house with elements from my roots came when I was asked to play at Manto bar, Manchester . Ranging from weekend evening slots to dirty house slots until 7am on a Sunday, I've had to cater for a different crowd every time. Amongst the bar scene I have included myself in the progression and growth of Universal, this has given me an opportunity to express myself musically whilst raising funds for Huntington's Disease Association, a registered Charity, close to my good friend Lee's heart. After playing Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at various venues such as Velvet, Simple and Gaia to name a few, I now reside at Label on Saturdays providing a cross section of music which carries that sophisticated upbeat feel.
