Persona @ Music Box hosted by Stylus 13th May 2005

This was a first for Stylus, one dj playing on his own all night in the shack at the Music box. Lee has been used to playing long sets due to his old residency at the infamous Breakfast club @ Manto’s in Manchester so the Stylus boys had no doubts about his talent to perform. He had handmade Persona faces cut out and painted especially for the back room and brought along extra clearer Sound system to give the room a special vibe. Mike was on the Percussion from Manchester Underground to add another ingredient. Lee started his 5 hour set with some deep beats and then proceeded with some soulful house tracks with Moloko Forever More dropped. As more people started to come in he upped the tempo a bit and played a variety of breaks, Classics and Electro/Clash House throughout the event. A remix of Kraftwerk’s Tour de France by FK & a Kevin Saunderson mix of New Order were dropped in the last hour along with a Herbert remix of Louie Austin second to last and 808 state’s
One in Ten.
